Overview

Targeted ACL & CCL Joint Support

Support your dog’s journey back to active play with our Drop Knee Brace for Hind Legs. This orthopedic-grade support system is specifically designed to stabilize the stifle (knee) joint, providing relief for dogs suffering from ACL/CCL tears, luxating patellas, and general hind leg weakness.

By providing consistent compression and lateral stability, this brace helps reduce inflammation and prevents further injury, making it an essential tool for conservative management or post-surgical rehabilitation.

Why Your Dog Needs a Drop Knee Brace

Superior ACL and CCL Injury Stabilization

Knee injuries often lead to "tibial thrust," where the bones shift painfully. Our brace provides external stabilization to the joint, mimicking the natural function of the ligaments. This allows your dog to bear weight more comfortably during walks and playtime.

Relief for Arthritis and Joint Pain

For senior dogs, chronic joint pain can make every step a struggle. The medical-grade neoprene retains body heat to soothe aching joints, while the structured support takes the pressure off the knee, improving overall mobility and quality of life.

How to Use

A proper fit is crucial for joint stabilization. You can also watch our instructional video above to see how to secure the brace correctly.

  1. Identify the Knee: Locate your dog's knee joint (the stifle). The center of the brace should sit directly over this joint.
  2. Positioning: Open all Velcro straps and wrap the brace around the hind leg, ensuring the "drop" or curve of the brace follows the natural angle of the leg.
  3. Secure the Straps: Fasten the bottom strap first (below the knee) to anchor the brace, then secure the top strap (above the knee). It should be snug enough to stay in place without pinching the skin.
  4. Check the Tension: Ensure you can fit one finger between the brace and your dog’s leg. If the brace slides down, tighten the top strap slightly.
  5. Usage Schedule: Allow your dog to wear the brace for short periods initially (1–2 hours) to build tolerance. Do not leave the brace on overnight or while the dog is crated for long periods.
